We are always open to having new Scouts enter our Pack. Please reach out to our Pack Leadership group at pack306-leaders@googlegroups.com for additional information.
Cub Scouts runs in parallel with the school year. Normally there are two meetings per month, the full Pack (all Cub Scouts) meets as a large group and the smaller "Den" meets consist of only same-grade Cubs one other time. Times and scheduling for the Den meetings vary between Dens. There is usually a discussion in the fall about what times work the best. For the 2022-23 year we will return to more indoor meetings, but we will still take advantage of warmer weather for outdoor meetings whenever possible. The Pack also tries to do a service project and/or an additional fun activity per month. Currently our Pack events for September, October and November are all outside.
Dens are grouped by school grade and all work on the same rank: Lions are Kindergarten; Tigers are First Graders; Wolves are Second Graders; Bears are Third Graders. Fourth and Fifth Graders are Webelos.
Cub Scouts is not a "drop-off" activity - parents are required to attend meeting events and activities with their Scout. Siblings of any age and gender are welcome to join in the meetings/events too. Also, we are an all-volunteer organization so any help with the Dens or the Pack is greatly appreciated.
